About Luxe Cache

I had the idea of creating Luxe Cache (pronounced looks-cash) when I was at an all girls leadership conference for incoming seniors last month. Personally, I'm always looking on social media and on different websites for inspiration, but one can only have so many clothes in their wardrobe. I also attend a private school with a uniform, so personal style isn't really a thing unless you're considering hair, nails, makeup, etc. At said leadership conference, we were only allowed to wear a white top and dark trousers for most of the days, so when I saw other girls wearing the most stylish outfits out of a literal blank canvas I was in shock.

Remember VSCO girls? That was popular when I was in 5th grade, so the online memes surrounding the archetype of the VSCO girl and their cliche saying of "save the turtles!" while putting the emphasis on the ''reusable'' in their reusable metal straws had an impact on me developmentally to the point that I take the environment pretty seriously; I take part in an environmental certificate program at my school and ethically I do not like using AI and I do not like fast fashion.

That being said, it's so difficult to come across clothes that are affordable to the average person whilst still have good quality. I wanted to create something that gave ideas for personal style by using clothing that's already owned, gave ideas on where to buy ethical clothing, and somewhere where you won't be bombarded by ads while looking for inspo. This is a passion project, after-all.
so...
introducing Luxe Cache!!!
coming soon to a rectangle near you ;)
